KHBT is a creative studio set up by Karsten Huneck and Bernd Trümpler in London and Berlin.
KHBT crafts Ideas, Spaces and Buildings after carefully distilling the brief and considering the inherent nature of the existing environment.
KHBT has consistently created spatial works of local and international significance which are published widely as well as winning various awards such as a being runners up with a ‘special commendation’ at the prestigious Young Architect Of The Year Award (YAYA) in 2009 which is the most important price for emerging architects in the whole of the UK.
KHBT crosses boundaries and builds unique spaces that sit between art and architecture, varying from minimal installations to the construction of buildings and urban or spatial strategies. The work includes master-plans, public realm projects, residential and commercial developments and public art installations.
KHBT is fully involved at all Stages and controls each detail. As trained craftsmen Karsten and Bernd are developing and constructing various elements themselves
